Seeing Opportunities. Taking Action. Enabling Progress.
Enactus is a worldwide academic organization connecting students, academic and business leaders through entrepreneurial-based projects that empower people to transform opportunities into real, sustainable progress for themselves and their community. The Flagler College chapter of Enactus started in 1998 with four students. The first project we created was Flagler’s Legacy, a tour business of our historic campus.
In 2004, we won the National Exposition in Kansas City and then represented the United States in the World Cup in Barcelona, Spain, placing First Runner Up in the world.
In 2009, our team won the National Exposition in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and then represented the United States in the World Cup in Berlin, Germany.
In 2013, Flagler Enactus won their third National Championship in
Our connections with the partner companies who sponsor the Enactus organization grow stronger every year. Many of our alumni are currently employed with Enactus partner companies at their corporate headquarters including Unilever, Aflac, Lowes, Wal-Mart, Sam’s Club, Crossmark, and many more.
This year Flagler Enactus finished in the top 8 at the Enactus National Exposition in Cincinnati, Ohio. The projects presented focused on the St. Johns Juvenile Residential Facility, where two out of three youths return within three years of being released. The team has been working with the facility for three years on helping the young men housed there with educational, job and social skills through unique, transformative projects.
We are committed to working with our community on service leadership projects that enlist our entrepreneurial skills to improve the lives of others.
