Enactus is a worldwide academic organization connecting students and faculty with industry leaders and businesses. The focus of the organization is positively impacting the community through service leadership projects. The Flagler College chapter of Enactus started in 1998 with four students. The first project we created was Flagler’s Legacy, a tour business of our historic campus. In 2004, we won the National Exposition in Kansas City and then represented the United States in the World Cup in Barcelona, Spain, placing First Runner Up in the world. Our connections with the partner companies who sponsor the Enactus organization grow stronger every year. Many of our alumni are currently employed with Enactus partner companies at their corporate headquarters including Unilever, Aflac, Lowes, Wal-Mart, Sam’s Club, Crossmark, and many more. In 2009, our team won the National Exposition in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and then represented the United States in the World Cup in Berlin, Germany. Since then, we have been chosen as Second Runner Up and First Runner Up against 600+ teams in the United States in 2011 and 2012. in 2013 Flagler Enactus was chosen as the National Champion in the United States and will go on to represent the United States at the International World Cup Competition in Cancun, Mexico! We are committed to working with our community on service leadership projects that enlist our entrepreneurnal skills to improve the lives of others.
